Benjamin M. Spadt, CPA, CVA
Benjamin M. Spadt joined BCC Advisers in December 2015.
Mr. Spadt performs analysis and provides litigation support service to attorneys and their clients. He is primarily responsible for gathering, synthesizing, analyzing and documenting company background, financial, guideline company, economic and industry information pertinent to arriving at the value of businesses for a variety of purposes including: ESOP’s, mergers/acquisitions, estate taxes, buy/sell agreements, intra-family transfers/gifting, charitable donations, built-in gains calculations, management decision-making, limited partnerships and financial reporting.
A Lincoln, Nebraska native, Mr. Spadt received his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from The University of Nebraska at Omaha, and is a Certified Public Accountant with a permit to practice in the state of Iowa. He has also earned the Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) designation from the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts (NACVA). During his time at The University of Nebraska at Omaha, Mr. Spadt completed an internship with CoMc, LLC, a manufacturing company, where he worked with the accounting team. Upon graduating Mr. Spadt was employed by a public accounting firm.
