BCC Expands Business Valuation/Litigation Support Practice

BCC Advisers is pleased to announce the addition of Benjamin M. Spadt to BCC’s Business Valuation/Litigation Support practice. As a financial analyst, Mr. Spadt performs analysis and provides litigation support service to attorneys and their clients. He is primarily responsible for gathering, synthesizing, analyzing and documenting company background, financial, guideline company, economic and industry information pertinent to arriving at the value of businesses for a variety of purposes including:  ESOP’s, mergers/acquisitions, estate taxes, buy/sell agreements, intra-family transfers/gifting, charitable donations, built-in gains calculations, management decision-making, limited partnerships and financial reporting.

A Lincoln, Nebraska native, Mr. Spadt received his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from The University of Nebraska at Omaha.  During his time at The University of Nebraska at Omaha, Mr. Spadt completed an internship with CoMc, LLC, a manufacturing company, where he worked with the accounting team.  Mr. Spadt was also a student member of the AICPA.  Upon graduating, Mr. Spadt was employed by a public accounting firm. Mr. Spadt is currently working towards earning his Certified Public Accountant license.
