BCC Contributes to 2013 ABI Annual Conference

Jim Nalley (Vice President), Lindy Ireland (Senior Financial Analyst), and Tom Cavanagh (Transaction Adviser) represented BCC Advisers at the 2013 Iowa Association of Business and Industry’s Annual Conference held in Okoboji, Iowa June 11 through 14, 2013.  The conference included opportunities to connect with business leaders from across the state, as well as breakout sessions in unique venues on issues affecting Iowa and Midwest-based businesses. 

Jim co-presented a session titled “My Plan is Miles Ahead” which addressed how business harmony exists with succession planning, proper valuation and financial trust.  Conference attendees were later addressed by special Guest Speaker, Governor Terry Branstad, and the Leadership Iowa Class of 2013 (of which Jim was a member) held their graduation ceremony. 

ABI is a broad-based organization of over 1,300 diverse Iowa businesses working together to promote Iowa commerce.  Its mission is to foster a favorable business, economic, governmental and social climate within the state of Iowa so that citizens have the opportunity to enjoy the highest possible quality of life.  BCC is proud to contribute to ABI as a member of their Advisory Council and Board of Directors.
