BCC Advisers Opens Cedar Rapids Office, Expands M&A Practice
BCC Advisers is pleased to announce that Jack Gonder has joined the firm as a Managing Director. Jack will operate from BCC’s Cedar Rapids office, which opened on April 1.
“Jack’s extensive experience with mergers and acquisitions advisory and financing over the last 25 years, combined with his reputation for integrity, is a great fit to the existing expertise on BCC’s investment banking team and our growing firm,” said Steve Jacobs, BCC Advisers President. “Having a presence in Cedar Rapids will help us better serve clients in the Eastern Iowa market and surrounding states.”
Mr. Gonder joins BCC having worked predominantly with privately owned Midwestern based businesses for the majority of his career. “I greatly enjoy working with shareholders, business owners and management teams as it relates to mergers and acquisitions and look forward to bringing this experience to the Eastern Iowa marketplace along with BCC’s other core competencies in business valuation, litigation support and real estate appraisal.” Prior to moving to Cedar Rapids in 2014 Mr. Gonder was with the boutique Chicago investment bank InterOcean Advisors. Mr. Gonder has led dozens of buy and sell engagements generating approximately $400,000,000 in shareholder liquidity with companies in numerous sectors including industrial manufacturing, food, distribution and professional services. Mr. Gonder also has experience in debt financing having worked at Cedar Rapids Bank & Trust over the last two years, and formerly at American National Bank and LaSalle Bank in Chicago.
Mr. Gonder received his Masters of Business Administration in Finance, Economics and Entrepreneurship from the University of Chicago, Booth School of Business, and his BA from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. He is currently a board member of The Cedar Rapids Boys and Girls Club and is a Rotarian. He was formerly a board member of Chicago-based Robert Morris University, as well as a volunteer with Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Cedar Rapids and The Tax Assistance Program.
