Lindy D. Ireland joined BCC ADVISERS as Senior Financial Analyst in January 2006 with over twenty years’ experience in the financial services industry, including thirteen in public accounting. Ms. Ireland has held financial reporting and compliance roles in the insurance, government and banking sectors. During her tenure in the tax department of KPMG, she provided tax and consulting services to many of Des Moines' premiere corporate and trust clients.

Ms. Ireland is responsible primarily for the delivery of business valuation services to clients of BCC ADVISERS. She provides business valuations for a variety of purposes including employee stock ownership plans, equity offerings, buy-sell agreements, estate taxes, transfers of business interests, and marital dissolutions. In addition, she performs appraisals of intangible assets for purchase price allocations in business combinations under SFAS 141.

Ms. Ireland located to greater Des Moines in 1996. She received her B.A. from Stevens College in Lenox, Massachusetts and has continued her studies at Texas A&M University, West Texas University and Drake University. She is an associate of the American Society of Appraisers and is a member of the American Society of Women Accountants. She currently serves as board member and Treasurer of St. Andrew’s Preschool in Des Moines. She is active in numerous community activities including the Animal Rescue League of Iowa, where she is an instructor for volunteer training classes.
