Lindy D. Ireland joined BCC ADVISERS as Senior Financial Analyst in 2006. With over twenty five years’ experience in the financial services industry, including thirteen in public accounting, her professional background includes financial reporting and compliance roles in the insurance, government and banking sectors.

Ms. Ireland’s practice includes business valuation and analysis of both tangible and intangible business assets. Her expertise includes business valuations for purposes including Employee Stock Ownership Plan administration, shareholder transactions, buy/sell agreements, estate taxes, transfers/gifting, mergers/acquisitions, charitable donations, equity offerings, strategic planning, financial reporting and partnership transactions. In addition, she performs fair value appraisals of intangible assets and intellectual property for purchase price allocations and impairment testing. Fairness opinions are provided for mergers, acquisitions and restructuring transactions.

Ms. Ireland has resided in greater Des Moines since 1996. She received her B.A. from Stevens College in Lenox, Massachusetts and has continued her studies at Texas A&M University, West Texas University and Drake University. Ms. Ireland is a candidate member of the American Society of Appraisers and is a member of the ESOP Association and the American Society of Accountants. She serves on the finance committees of the Greater Des Moines Music Coalition and All Saints Episcopal Church, and is active in numerous community activities including the Animal Rescue League of Iowa and the American Red Cross.
