This is only a sampling of the reasons for valuation analyses. Valuation
analysis is appropriate any time management decision-making can be
independently supported in potential conflict-of-interest situations. Such
activities include recapitalization and corporate dissolution.
BCC ADVISERS approaches each valuation assignment by specifically defining
the terms of the engagement and the purpose for the analysis. As an
independent appraiser, BCC ADVISERS' analyses and reports adhere to the
Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP), the
Principles of Appraisal Practice and Code of Ethics of the American Society
of Appraisers and Statement on Standards for Valuation Services (SSVS) No.
1 and the Code of Professional Conduct of the American Institute of
Certified Public Accountants. Our background and experience in a variety of
valuation assignments qualify us to assist most middle-market businesses
with their valuation needs.
A valuation report from BCC ADVISERS clearly states the standard of value
to be applied, the type of property being appraised and the procedures used
to estimate value. We take pride in providing complete, professional
user-friendly reports that our clients can use in their decision-making
processes.
Fees are negotiated on a project-by-project basis. BCC ADVISERS will quote
a range of fixed fees or an hourly rate, whichever is applicable in the
particular situation. Questionnaires and information requests are an
integral part of the process and BCC ADVISERS will commit to a completion
date based on when materials are expected to be received from the client.
